Dr Gemma Ossolinski
With over 10 years of general practice experience, and time in paediatrics at Sydney Children’s Hospital, I have developed a focus in postnatal support and breastfeeding, unsettled babies, eczema and other as aspects of child health. I enjoy working with families who have concerns about their child's development or behaviour, and have additional training in screening for developmental issues.
I also have an interest in women’s health and contraception, offering consultations for Mirena insertion and removal, as well as Implanon insertion and removal.
I value taking the time to get to know my patients and developing a shared understanding of their needs and goals, whether addressing a short-term issue or managing a chronic condition.
With a Bachelor of Science from UWA and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney, I hold a Diploma of Paediatrics from Sydney Children’s Hospital/UNSW and a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. I also have a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health and NDC (Possums) accreditation.
Beyond my professional life, I am a proud mother of two young boys and a passionate advocate for neurodiversity. In my free time, I love exploring the great outdoors by foot, bike, or snowboard.
